Alice Davis Stroud quilt

I was named for my maternal aunt, Alice Johnson Langston, and my paternal great aunt, Alice Davis Stroud.
Alice Stroud make these quilt squares for me when I was born (1955) and never made it into  a quilt.
Her daughter, Ruby Stroud, gave them to me in 1980 and I made the top into a quilt and one
pillow. A local  church group hand quilted the top.

The quilt is displayed in our bedroom on a quilt rack and is greatly cherished and loved.

The label on the back has her picture and information about the quilt.
