Pretty Applique Quilt

This is one of the prettiest hand appliqued and  hand quilted pieces I have ever seen. It was on display at the NC Quit Symposium in Mars Hill, NC in 2007. As I remember the quilter painted wild flowers from her travels or two homes in Florida and NC for the quilt center.  She then added this exquisitely appliqued border with flora and hummingbirds!! 

I aspire to complete such a master piece one day!
