Working on Baskets...

I am sewing along on my basket blocks that the guild members made for me...

Trying to find aqua embroidery floss to hand embroider a block about my years of NQG presidency. Wouldn't you know it...with all of this floss NO aqua.

Designing  border for this jumbo rick rack and some flowers to tie it all together ...want to hang it up in my sewing room once I get it all painted. DO NOT LOOK FOR THAT TO HAPPEN AMY TIME SOON! But at least the wall hanging should be ready.

And will use some of this lovely fabric ...

And finally...

WHAT a find on Etsy...a handbook for my new featherweight machine!!! Only paid $9 too..good deal and it is an original.

Blessings all,
Kathy

    1. Debby, I bought it from a older gentleman who was a sewing machine repairman for years...it was all cleaned up with a great
      cover too.

  4. Lovely baskets! So cheerful!
I feel your frustration about the floss; since our local Wal Mart stopped carrying floss my supply is dwindling. And it sounds like we have the same painter problem. :)

  5. Your baskets will be so pretty showcased on the wall, the aqua is perfect! Lucky you to have the wonderful find of a vintage book to go with your featherweight! I need to set mine up and sew, and enjoy it ~
