Restoration on Double Wedding Ring quilt

I replaced an area of this 1930's double wedding ring quilt that she purchased an an auction.
I used scraps from another damaged ring quilt and appliqued it into place.


I hand quilted the areas worked on.








She now has it on her guest bed and it looks great!!

    You did a fabulous job on this quilt! It takes a great deal of patience to make all those fabrics blend in with the old ones. One of these days I'm going to have to tackle repairing a few antique quilts that belonged to my great-grandmother. Thanks for the inspiration:)
