We had a great afternoon of lunch and sharing with the Greene County Needlework Guild this afternoon.
They have soooo many experienced quilters with new ideas and so willing to share with us.

Alice Davis Stroud quilt
I was named for my maternal aunt, Alice Johnson Langston, and my paternal great aunt, Alice Davis Stroud.
Alice Stroud make these quilt squares for me when I was born (1955) and never made it into a quilt.
Her daughter, Ruby Stroud, gave them to me in 1980 and I made the top into a quilt and one
pillow. A local church group hand quilted the top.
The quilt is displayed in our bedroom on a quilt rack and is greatly cherished and loved.
The label on the back has her picture and information about the quilt.
