I make a lot of felt pillows, but I find it easier to attach the felt pieces with hot glue.Brandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01049383432715304456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1007519740628146903.post-52745851337485935492014-01-13T18:33:45.074-08:002014-01-13T18:33:45.074-08:00I don't have a problem with no sew! Sometimes, that's to make the non-sewist feel like they can accomplish something normally done with needle and thread. Make it YOUR way...that will be my way, too, lol ~
:-}pokeyPokeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12546013812822816960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1007519740628146903.post-81309343870149685662014-01-10T05:29:51.744-08:002014-01-10T05:29:51.744-08:00I must confess that I prefer a needle and thread t...I must confess that I prefer a needle and thread to a glue gun........ No Sew doesn't give the idea of lasting and when I put my material and time into something I want it to last...........Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00549642561593058684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1007519740628146903.post-81042493362126476902014-01-09T16:08:07.420-08:002014-01-09T16:08:07.420-08:00Ha! I can see if you don't know how to sew at all but to me, it's much faster to sew a seam than use hot glue (and less frustrating too!). My philosophy is that you need to sew it, so it will hold together forever.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17234758381328815846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1007519740628146903.post-40747101663821859382014-01-09T06:27:30.591-08:002014-01-09T06:27:30.591-08:00I've had a Roman Shades project for 3 windows ...I've had a Roman Shades project for 3 windows in our hearth room on my 'to-do' list for going on 2 years now and I don't know why I feel so 'intimidated' as I've made many home dec window treatments through the years - just no 'working' Roman shades. Even bought all the hardware, fabric, everything - there is truly no excuse for me. I also enjoy Centsational Girl's site and checked your link and these shades are very pretty - but I did see she used a sewing machine in the very beginning! Good Luck! I'll start mine if you start yours and maybe we can motivate each other!!
PS You produce such beautiful work on your sewing machine... I'm sure either way you make them, they will be beautiful.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09872753120191298033noreply@blogger.com
